My Uncle passed away last night from cancer. What an insiduous disease! This has been a most agonizing 2 weeks. We have watched this disease slowly destroy him. I know that God has a plan but to watch this happen is difficult, to say the least.
On a more positive note, he died at home with his family around him. He had an opportunity to say "Goodbye" which is a gift unto itself. He is not suffering now. As my cousin said, "He is probably already fishin'!"
